Songs of Scratch Garden
- Children's Entertainment, Educational
For the past decade, Scratch Garden has created awesome animations and music for young minds. Equal parts laughing + learning (and a dash of salamanders) are combined with original music across multiple genres to make engaging & entertaining experiences for kids and adults alike!
Amassing nearly 2 billion video streams on YouTube while building a loyal audience of listeners across all platforms (currently 1 million monthly music streams), Scratch Garden’s new album “Songs in the Key of Bananas” (2025) is sure to keep things growing for this team.
And now, Scratch Garden’s songwriters Sue & David Newberry bring their laughing and learning to communities via their multimedia live show, most recently opening the 2025 and 2026 Peterborough Folk Festival mainstage, which included collaborations with Sharon Hampson (of Sharon, Lois, and Bram).
From classrooms worldwide to living rooms and backseat sing-alongs, it is rare to meet a kid who hasn’t danced to one of Scratch Garden’s songs (or a parent who hasn’t happily sang along!) The Songs of Scratch Garden live show is growing the world of Scratch Garden, where every beat brings a giggle, every lyric sparks curiosity, and every kid feels invited to join the fun.
